Dr. Abhijit Sen recently attended the 1st Annual Conference of the Arthroscopy Society of North-East (ASNESCON 2026) as a National Faculty, contributing actively to the academic and practical sessions focused on modern arthroscopy and sports injury management.
The conference brought together orthopaedic surgeons, arthroscopy specialists, and young medical professionals from across the country to discuss the latest advancements in joint preservation, ligament reconstruction, and minimally invasive orthopaedic procedures.
As part of the scientific program, Dr. Sen delivered two academic talks on advanced arthroscopic techniques and ACL reconstruction approaches. His presentations focused on improving knee stability, functional recovery after surgery, and the evolving role of anatomical reconstruction techniques in sports injury management. The sessions were well received by delegates and sparked interactive discussions among attending surgeons and trainees.
In addition to the lectures, Dr. Sen also conducted a dedicated Arthroscopy Workshop, where he guided participants through practical aspects of arthroscopic procedures, instrumentation handling, and surgical workflow techniques. The hands-on workshop allowed young orthopaedic professionals to gain deeper exposure to modern arthroscopy practices and operative concepts.
The event served as an important academic platform for knowledge exchange and collaborative learning within the orthopaedic community. Dr. Sen’s participation reflects his continued involvement in arthroscopy education, sports injury treatment, and advancement of minimally invasive orthopaedic surgery.
ASNESCON 2026 was organized under the theme of Joint Preservation, Repair, Reconstruction and Restore, highlighting the growing importance of early intervention and advanced surgical techniques in restoring mobility and improving patient outcomes.
Dr. Sen remains committed to combining clinical practice, surgical innovation, and academic contribution in the field of orthopaedics and sports medicine.
